Grinch is a young frenchie cross staffie who is approximately a year old. He arrived in our care as a stray and was never claimed, so he is now ready to move on to the next chapter of his new life. Grinch is finding kennels a little worrying and we are hoping that he will not be waiting long for his new home.
On first meetings with new people, Grinch can be slightly shy. We have found that with lots of reassuring talk and fusses he soon feels comfortable in new company. He has such a loving personality; he loves to be close for cuddles. We feel a home with someone home most of the time will best suit his requirements, this is so his people can work on his training and keep good progress.
Grinch could potentially live with children who are used to bouncy bull breeds, cats, and other neutered pets. All this will be based on introductions at the centre.
We do advise all rescue dogs are enrolled on to dog training classes to help build confidence and adjust to their new life.
We would politely ask that successful applicants are able to carry out introductions as soon as possible as we feel Grinch would benefit from a home environment and not kennels.
