Ever wondered if your dog could get involved in an escape room? Well, we put it to the test! Escape Rooms Cardiff kindly invited Cooper, Roxy and Blue along last week and what an adventure they had!
Each of our pups took on a different challenge. Cooper blasted off into space to take on Astroquest, Roxy put her detective skills to the test in Sherlock 2 and Blue channelled his inner Indiana Jones as he tackled Tomb 2.
Of course, our volunteers were on hand to make sure the pups didn’t miss any important clues along the way. Although, we suspect some of them were more interested in the treats than solving the puzzles!
The Escape Rooms Cardiff team went above and beyond and they even prepared special treats, snuffle mats and licky mats to keep the pups entertained and help them along on their missions. It was the perfect enrichment opportunity.
So, the big question is… can you guess who escaped first?
Well, we’re delighted to announce that our winner was none other than our clever girl Roxy!
A huge thank you to Escape Rooms Cardiff for inviting our pups and volunteers along. It was a great opportunity to show how our dogs, particularly our reactive residents like Roxy, can still go out and do cool things. Being reactive doesn’t mean they have to miss out on all the adventures life has to offer!
