We’re absolutely thrilled to give you a sneak peek into our brand-new summer house!
The summer house offers our residents a cosy space where they can snuggle up on the sofa with staff and volunteers, and experience what it’s like to relax in a real home setting.
Thanks to generous funding from The National Lottery, we were able to purchase two summer houses. Although the cost of two summer houses exceeded the funding, Eden Landscapes based in Pugh’s Garden Village kindly supplied a discount and assembling services, so we were able to go ahead with the plan! Right now, only one summer house has been built as the second will be constructed once the highly anticipated kennel project is finished.
Next, our neighbours on Penarth Road, Brewers Decorator Centre, kindly supplied us with paint to get the summer house looking on brand in navy blue!
Next, our talented Trustee and interior design superstar Hayley, worked her magic to transform the space into something truly special. Thanks to her expertise and the furnishings generously provided by Jewels Canley Interiors, inside the summer house is now looking wonderful and ready for our residents to enjoy in style!
Finally, our summer house would not be complete without the sofa kindly donated by Deb from Collar Club Cardiff (Daisy has already given her stamp of approval!).
