We’re delighted to announce our official partnership with WoofWalk, a free app designed to make every dog walk easier.
At The Rescue Hotel, we care for dogs with all kinds of personalities. That’s why we’re excited to partner with WoofWalk, an app that brings useful walking information together in one place. Whether you’re looking for the nearest dog waste bin, discovering dog-friendly places, or planning a route with helpful information such as livestock warnings, the app makes it easier to choose a walk that suits you and your dog.
This is something we really value at The Rescue Hotel
Finding the right environment can make a huge difference to a dog’s experience. Some of our residents, like Hugo, prefer quieter walks, so our volunteers can use WoofWalk to help avoid busy roads and choose more peaceful routes.
Other residents, such as Snowy and Tin Tin, are much more social and love being around people. For them, WoofWalk’s dog-friendly café finder can help our volunteers discover new places to enjoy together.
Most importantly, our volunteers can find designated dog waste bins as that is always a necessary part of the walk regardless of which resident they are with!
WoofWalk isn’t just useful for planning your own walks, you can also help other dog owners in your local area.
If you come across a dog waste bin, livestock field or other useful information while you’re out walking, you can mark it on the app. Sharing these updates helps fellow WoofWalk users plan their walks and keep their dogs happy and safe.
One of the things we’re most excited about is that your walks can directly support the dogs at The Rescue Hotel, without costing you a penny.
When you download WoofWalk, The Rescue Hotel can be chosen as your charity in the app. So, 100% of the charity advertising revenue generated through your walks goes to The Rescue Hotel. Just make sure before you start your walk, you do not skip the advert! If you do, your points do not count.
