We’re delighted to announce that Team The Rescue Hotel will be returning to the Cardiff Half Marathon on Sunday 4th October 2026 and we’re inviting runners to join us in helping change the lives of rescue dogs.
The Cardiff Half Marathon is one of the UK’s biggest and most iconic races and for us it is about far more than the miles. Every runner who joins our team helps raise vital funds to support dogs at Cardiff Dogs Home providing care enrichment and brighter futures for those who need it most.
In 2025 our incredible runners raised over £40,000 for rescue dogs an achievement we are immensely proud of. With your help we are aiming to go even further in 2026.
Runners who join Team The Rescue Hotel will receive fundraising support encouragement from our team and a legendary cheer squad on Penarth Road with some of our resident dogs there to spur you on. Charity places are available in exchange for a minimum fundraising target of £300 while runners with their own place are also welcome to fundraise with us.
