As part of our mission to promote responsible dog ownership, we’re proud to offer fun and educational sessions for schools, youth groups, and community clubs. After all, today’s children are tomorrow’s pet guardians — and we believe education is key to building a more compassionate future for dogs.

What We Offer

Our 1-hour sessions are interactive, informative, and tailored for children and young people. We cover:

• An introduction to The Rescue Hotel and how we help homeless dogs in Cardiff
• The right way to approach and interact with dogs
• Dog safety tips for summer (keeping cool, hydration, walking times)
• Healthy and safe treat options for dogs
• How volunteering makes a difference for dogs in kennels

Children will also get the chance to ask questions, learn through discussion, and meet one of our friendly resident dogs.

For Your School or Group

We’ll provide each group with a small education pack, including posters, leaflets, and takeaway materials to reinforce learning at home or in the classroom.
